Overdose Victim Rescued By Ramapo Police
Some fast-acting police officers in Ramapo came to the rescue of a man suffering from a potentially fatal overdose. Officers Matthew Murphy and Michael Luba were dispatched to an Airmont home at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Friday, Oct.12, where there was a report of an overdose inside an area home. Upon arrival, the officers found a family member performing CPR on a 32-year-old who was suffering from an overdose. Paramedics in Westchester will take center stage when A&E Network premieres “Nightwatch Nation” on Thursday night. Producer Dick Wolf of "Law & Order" fame, has created his latest show, an expansion of the “Nightwatch” program, which will follow EMTs in four cities - including Yonkers - as they “risk their lives to work the busiest and most unnerving shift of the day, the overnight.” The show premieres at 10 p.m. on A&E on Aug. 16. Overdose Victim Found On Roadway Rescued By Wappingers Falls Police
Two quick acting Wappingers Falls police officers saved the life of an opioid overdose victim by administering Narcan. The save took place around 12:24 p.m. Wednesday when officers Devin Ludwig and Mark Liebermann responded to the area of Andrews Place, a public highway located in the Village of Wappingers Falls for a report of a male down, said Lt P. Wappingers Falls Police Use Narcan To Rescue Overdose Victim
A Village of Wappingers Falls man is alive thanks to quick-acting cops and the use of Narcan. The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. Thursday when Officers Devin Ludwig and Joshua Kemlage responded the Tinkleman Plaza on Route 9 for a report of an unconscious male, said Sgt. P. Capparelli.
