A dead dog found inside a vehicle has led to animal cruelty charges against two women in New York, authorities announced on Monday, June 8.
Allison M. Fisher, 23, and Livia L.A. Boddie, 21, both of Halfmoon, were arrested following an animal complaint at a home on Tower Way in Halfmoon, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to 4 Tower Way at 10:56 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, where an investigation led to the charges, the sheriff's office said.

On Thursday, June 26, at 2:47 p.m., an ambulance was flagged down by a pedestrian in the ACME parking lot at 125 East Main St, after two people appeared to be unconscious inside a parked vehicle, Denville police said.
